Wendell Vaught, a master naturalist, swamp walk leader and retired Florida Division of Forestry senior forest ranger, will share his favorite haunts for spotting wildlife - from eagles, manatees and gators, to bird migration and nesting habitats. Tips on where and when to find the Best of the Everglades - from paddling 10,000 Islands, to bird sitting in the Rookery Preserve, to tips on ghost orchid sitting. Vaught will share his tales of exploring the murky marshes for fossils, snakes and other swamp things.
