MCANC organizes/networks to responsibly, sensibly, & compassionately protect animals and nature.

This community is still trying to save a local Rank 4 Endangered Species forest, working on spaying/neutering homeless cats (no kill) & adopting out the kittens, and there are other things such as Sierra Club events listed at our site. You are invited to join us.

This is an OPTIMISTIC, yet realistic, effective and intelligent group that I founded a few years ago for Morris County, NJ. We are kind to each other, the Environment, and all kinds of animals. We MUST always be diplomatic, conscientious, caring & professional with one another as well as the rest of the community.

Although we cover several issues, if we are organized and willing to learn from each other, we can accomplish more wonderful things. I now live in LA & I'm happy to see my group active again. While I do what I can when I can from out here for the group, I'd like to soon see a conscientious, responsible new organizer come to step in and take over my place. Please keep in mind that I'm very, very busy & organize other groups as well...
Thanks!

We will be discussing us volunteering our time to help those at different animal shelters, like 11th Hour and Noah's Ark.

We will also be talking about getting information from other groups that have been able to set up a TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return) in their area.

We need more volunteers to make this really helpful. We need new people and new ideas too. Read more

What members are saying

Loved it! Got to meet alot of great animal lovers!

This group is definitely helpful in opening discussions on what we as conservationists should be looking at in terms of government mishandling of the environment. ...
