This will be a continuation of the last Meet Up that we had last month. We REALLY need new blood. New ideas are MOST welcome. We are trying to change the laws about putting homeless cats down in this county. Cats are least likely to get rabies, they survive on their own and keep the rodents under control where ever they are. They HELP us! Please try to come to our meeting. They are very short as most people have many other things that they have to do. We try to make each meeting 1 hour long. We have a little pizza party at the end too, if you want to that is. With help from our stand-in leader and founder Jackie Eco's (www.myspace.com/jac kieeco) friends at the legendary Comic Strip Live (www.comicstriplive. com) in NYC, we are selling tickets to the club (good for ANY show) for only $10 for TWO people! Normally, tickets are $25 PER PERSON. Please send your donations via paypal to jackieeco1@yahoo.com or write a check without the addressee filled in – this way, we will put in the vets’ names who perform the spaying/neutering. You can mail the checks to: Jackie Eco, PO Box 4823, Valley Village, CA 91617. Please specify if you want tickets or to just make a donation. They also make great GIFTS &/or party ideas!!! Thanks! Please bring your thoughts? Thanks, Sandi

We will be hopefully getting info from Alley Cat's Ally to help us change the laws about neutering instead of killing the ferals.

Sorry for the late notice, but it was a last-minute decision and, besides, there'll be lots of other great meet-ups in the future! I'm visiting NJ briefly (now live in the West Coast) and am having a little get-together for my upcoming birthday as well as to bring some like-minded folks out and have some fun together. We will likely discuss some issues and/or the group. I will "mediate"/ lead to an extent, however since I'm on vacation, I will NOT be leading it like a regular meeting. We will hang out, talk, discuss issues, eat and/or have coffee, etc. I am busy with other eco-projects in LA and it's really up to the NJ community to maintain MCANC now though I try to keep an eye on it. PLEASE bring your business cards and be ready to connect with other caring, educated, fun people in your community!!! There are some members that do not go online at all!!! Afterwards, some of us may go for drinks as well. Thanks! Jackie

We would like to hear your ideas of ways to get the local laws to change other than just putting our local feral cats down. We need new ideas. It will be the last meeting of this year. We will be talking a little about the last meeting and the informative information given to us by Mr. Sharpe about mutual funds that are with organizations that we approve of. It was a fun meeting.

Because we love animals and nature, and want to help save the earth. We want to help other stuggling organizations if possible too.

Hi Gang, Since most of you live in the Morris County Area, we will try this month's Social Walk for Animal Welfare at Jockey Hollow near Morristown's Morris County State Park. Please meet me at 11:30 AM near the Jockey Hollow Visitor's Center. We will take the lightest trail, no longer than an hour. Then for those interested we will head to Morristown Diner for a snack, coffee or social late lunch, whatever members would like. $1 Donation requested to help Sandi and Jackie and the MCANC group help the animals. Thank you, Diana Christine 732-322-5488

We will have visited an 11th Hour rescue adoption center in Rockaway Towns Square, and donated the items which we collected so far. We will learn what else they will need. Please bring your suggestions and ideas to this meeting on ways that we can help this rescue group. This group saves the dogs and cats that are to be put down from over crowded animal shelters and keeps those animals or gets them adopted to good homes. We want to see if members want to volunteer their time at the 11th Hour. We will also start talking about TNR to begin in the spring.

Sandy Hook Winter Waterfowl Wonderland and Seal Walk Talk will be given by a Naturalist from the NJ Audubon Society. Meet 1 PM or earlier at the Sandy Hook Visitor Center. Gang, for the month of February, I will probably be doing this instead of the regular Social Walk for Animal Welfare, so I will not be collecting any monies unless you just would like to offer it ($1) to help Jackie and Sandi out and help the animals out. Thank you, Diana Christine 732-322-5488 PS: If you know you would like to come, please sign up as a Yes, since I do need to let the Sandy Hook park know in advance how many people to expect. Thank you. More Info To Follow

This is a very fun annual trip to the Adirondacks to enjoy various outdoor sports including skiing, skating, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, nature hikes, photography, pubs & restaurants in town, shopping and just getting away. Something for everyone. All activities are optional, no timelines, small groups decide on various activities for the day. We stay in cabins with heat & electric, and you can come for 2 days or 5 days, its up to you! Whatever you have time for and can afford. I am running this trip with another meetup group, Adventurers.
