Introduction
Hello, my name is Andrea. I just joined The Meet Up Group today. I am glad I found this group. It seems very interesting, as well as offering various topics/groups. I have always had an interest in the environment.
Where did you gow up?
The environment is not only everything that is in nature, but also everything we as a society have taken from nature and brought into our lives, such as water, heating resources,trees/wood, etc. It also includes a person's attitude,beliefs, and morals.
What environmental controversy would you like to see solved?
An environmentalist is a person who truely cares for and wants to make a difference for the environment
Are you planning a green project?
Although I do not own my own home, I still try to reduce my ecological footprint. I recycle, try to use as little water as possible, including using water saving appliances, dont leave electric on all the time, avoid using the dryer and garbage disposal as much as possible etc.
What is something you would like to know more about?
I am interested in topics that deal with greening and sustainability. I am interested in learning about any topics that are about the environment
What is your environmental Pet Peev?
I am most familiar with topics that deal with sustainability. I have been introduced to other topics, such as planning/developing issues, global warming, etc.
