Street Fair Tabling - Environmental Education

Dear Upper Green Siders

We have been invited by the Elenor Roosevelt High School PTA to participate in their upcoming streetfair. Unlike most streetfairs, this one is completely free of the usual vendors you see at every street fair. This is completely organized and run by the PTA and the students of the the High School and will feature local neighborhood vendors, other local non-profit organizations and lots of food, music and activities throughout the day.

For our part, we will be educating the public about environmental issues and asking them to take action on specific issues - like increasing renewable energy supplies, buying local food, recycling more/wasting less and making smart choices in their daily life.

We need volunteers to staff our table throughout the day. Please sign-up here to volunteer for specific times between 10am and 4pm and I will follow-up with you personally about what to wear and bring while you are with us that day. I hope many of you can join us for a fun day of outreach and education.
