Introduction
Hi, I'm Bob, your organizer! I'm a long-time Sierra Club member and enjoy exploring the great outdoors and doing what I can to preserve and protect our natural environment. I hope you will join me at some of our events!
Would you like to host an event or activity?

What environmental issues are you most concerned about?

I'm concerned about energy utilization, preserving our local parks and natural areas, wildlife protection, and local air and water pollution issues.

What activities and events would you most like to see our group to do?

I'd like to see us do a combination of educational events to learn more about environmental issues, outings to explore the Triangle's natural areas, and fun, social events to get to know everyone in the group and make new friends.

  •  Hello Bob,
Enjoyed the group and discussion today. The book I mentioned was "The Consumer's Guide to EFFECTIVE Environmental Choices - Practicle advice from the Union of Concerned Scientists"
It's not exactly an exciting read but a great resource for helping to understanding the impact of our lives on the planet.

  •  Hi, Bob,
I am exploring the possibility of integrating green movements and field work into the healing/recovery for victims of Human Trafficking. My mother died as one when I was 8. Understanding how just a little personal effort may assist in manking a difference in our environment can and will heal many victims. My mother never made it out but there are many that we can help. Bob, please extend a hand. Brenda
