Introduction
living in an environmental paradise like Eastern US, we don't know what it's like where most people live. We're so lucky WHERE and WHEN we live.
Would you like to host an event or activity?

I could. I live in the middle of 50 beautiful acres, but do have some "invaders from Mars" aka invasive species

What environmental issues are you most concerned about?

looming sale of our public lands as the baby boomers retire and soc. sec. trust fund starts paying out mucho $ than it gets-higher taxes or less for retirees? Giant tax breaks for rich, mucho lent right back to govt., leaves them well off to buy lands

What activities and events would you most like to see our group to do?

control our energy consumption, emissions, and current account deficit. Protect our public and private lands from pollution, esp. sediments into our waterways, toxins in our air and rain. Lobby govt. on the above.

  •  Hey Henry thanks so much for your informative and fun guidance on the Holden Trail/Cox Mountain hike. Enjoyed it very much. By the way, I checked and the bird I saw at Occoneechee that I'd not seen before was the Blue Grosbeak.
