This is part meet-up and part BCAN meeting (Baltimore Climate Action Network: www.baltimoreclimate.org). The issues will be mostly on working locally to pass this statewide legislation. In other words, we will go over particular state legislators representing districts in Baltimore City and Baltimore County. We will probably share paper and envelopes and have a letter-writing session on the spot, to remind us of what's important.

Here's a tip - if anyone gets a chance, please write your letter or email now, **before** the meeting. We will be giving Kudos and acknowledgements to all those who have taken any steps like this, whether present at the meeting or not. Their names will be read, and will also appear in the Minutes. Other ways of getting Kudos would be to write an LTE (Letter to the Editor), etc. See: www.baltimoreclimate.org

We will also get an update on some impressive (and potentially impressive) climate developments in the Baltimore City Council and Baltimore County Council.

There are always a lot of practical ideas that we share along the lines of greening our homes and lifestyles, which everyone seems to be interested in.

The meeting place is real very nice, with comfortable chairs that we arrange in a circle.
