We're a local community group working to make New York's Upper West Side more environmentally sustainable. We bring together neighbors interested in green urban living, including:
Local food (Greenmarkets, Community Supported Agriculture, Green Restaurants, etc.)
Transportation (smart & modern pedestrian-biking-mass transit improvements)
Energy (use reduction, efficiency, and green energy)
Recycling improvement and Waste reduction
Community building
...and any and all proven and novel ways of reducing our community's negative impact on the environment.
