Virginia Beach was chosen by the American Institute of Architects to be one of ten cities to participate in their Communities by Design program for 2009. The AIA has put together a team of experts from across the country to provide guidance to us on planning for a more sustainable future---economic, physical, social and environmental sustainablility. Our entire team will be here during the third week of September. During their visit, there will be two exciting opportunities for citizens to get involved.
